In light of a number of personal and ministry circumstances, CSI will be re-organizing in order to focus on the ministry programs deemed to be most strategic according to the CSI Board of Directors. Wanting the resources created by Rodger Oswald as he has directed CSI to have longevity and to continue to serve and equip individuals and churches, we have entered into a partnership with Church Sports and Recreation Ministers association (the national and international Sports Minister’s organization). CSRM will now become the depository and distributor of CSI’s CD, DVD and print resources, as well as the Higher Power products. We are in a transition period, so CSI resources can continue to be ordered through our website; however, shortly, obtaining Rodger’s material will require going to the CSRM website, www.csrm.org. Please join us in praying that this partnership allows CSI resources to continue to be used by God for His glory and Kingdom purposes.

The CSRM Summit is the premiere sports ministry conference in the United States and is intended for anyone who uses the tools of sport and play to reach their community for Christ. A ministry colleague is seeking a qualified football (soccer) coach for a team in Kathmandu, Nepal from late 2011 through 2012. This is a team of young men from 15-24 with the desire to see this registered club move up in competitive stature within the Nepali football (soccer) association. Accommodations and meals provided (as well as internet service, laundry, domestic travel paid and fees paid for the visa process. This needs to be perceived as a missionary position as no salary is provided. In addition to playing football, the team is involved in serving an orphanage for the extremely poor. The second book is written by two runners (Dana Niesluchowski and David Veerman) and it is entitled THE RUNNERS DEVOTIONAL. The authors are experienced runners and they have produced a book that deals with running and faith issues in a systematic way (charting progress in both areas).
